How does your DH handle it? Is he enjoying being the preferred parent?

One thing you could try is not showing that your feelings are hurt, and not talking to her about your feelings. She says she prefers dad, that’s fine, no big deal. You can say to her, I get it that you’d rather be with dad now, but right now you and I are going to do (whatever it is). Taking some of the power out of the preference may make it lose some of its attraction for her.

I’d also try to plan some evens where she gets to choose what the 2 of you do - whether it’s the playground or the nail salon. You’re the one who takers her but it’s her choice of activity.

Dh is just going to have to suck it up and spend more time with your toddler.
