Legacy matters less and less. [b]And nothing is happening with an 1180[/b]. Definitely don't submit that. A 3.8 is going to be regarded differently depending on the school. Public students with all the APs are rolling with 4.8s. Rigorous courses will matter. So will ECs. And recommendations.

DP. My DD just got ED at UVA with an 1180 and no hooks. We are white and full pay, no legacy.
