[/quote] You do, but only for that point in time. So you could get a short term sublet and establish IB status, then move back home (within DC). No need to change voter registration or homestead deduction if you're only moving for a few months since that's not how the rules for either of those work. And as a PP linked, it's not principal discretion or something they "should but don't" do. It's the DCPS policy and as long as you timely notify them when you move OOB, it's completely by the book under the current policy. [/quote]
