Climate matters. Diversity matters. My ability to learn the language at at least a functional level matters.

So I’m looking at either major European cities (Paris, London) or major SA cities (buenos Aires, Medellin.) Or good old NYC, at least for a good part of the year.

I can’t wait to strip my life down to the bedrock. Ditch all the furniture, give away one thousand books, sell the cars, etc. Find a small apartment in the most interesting part of someplace beautiful and live for experiences and thoughts instead of things and other people.

There is this myth that single people can hop up and live anywhere. We have jobs in specific career fields, need to be near doctors, etc.[/quote]
