I often invited (personally, not via evite) a few friends/family friends with similar aged kids to these big parties. That way I knew that worst case scenario, I’d still end up with 8-10 kids (4-5 friends kids, my 3, and hopefully a few from school) and it would be a party. Saved me a few times, as my kids all have birthdays at tough times of year. [/quote]
