Had an unexpected experience in the early AM. Woke up with a sudden leg cramp and flew off the bed to walk it off. Made way to bathroom where I also used the toilet (standing up, male, fyi). Then when I finished, suddenly everything went weird. I went dizzy, couldn't see anything. I think I went down to the floor and eventually managed to get back up. Made my way very gingerly to the bedroom without seeing anything and remember fumbling with the light switch only for a sense of a blurred light, like a light through closed eyelids. Switched it off. Eventually sight returned and I laid back down on the bed, sweating heavily. But that cooled off fairly quickly. I suspect the whole episode lasted minutes though it felt longer. Never had anything like this happen before. I can also add that when swimming earlier this afternoon, towards the end of the swim I felt the beginning of a small toe cramp and called it quits. Then afterwards, through dinner, I felt as if the beginning of some kind of virus was descending. But after dinner it cleared up and all was well. Till this incident. Never had anything like this happen before. Perhaps unrelated? Who knows. I assume some kind of temporarily loss of blood pressure is what caused the dizziness and collapse to floor, but would a cramp cause that? The peeing after a cramp?
