It's like $1200 a month per pen retail, but if you only want to lose 5 pounds a very low dose will probably be all you need. In that case (if you can find a provider to give you a prescription) one $1200 8-mg pen of Ozempic or similar (it has to be one where you can customize the dose--Ozempic has a mechanism to allow this, Wegovy does not, not sure about any of the other ones like Mounjaro etc) could have up to 32 weekly doses in it, so it wouldn't be that expensive.

Another option is the compounded "generic" from a med spa, but not sure whether that's being cracked down on or not, I never learned too much about it.

Personally I would just try to enjoy your body with 5 "extra" pounds but it could certainly be an option.[/quote]
