But, it could affect your ability to get a job with that agency again. OP, personally I would value remote but I don't know what the stability of your current job is, especially after you gave notice. If I were 100% certain I could stay remote, and stay employed, I would stay put. But it's a gamble. Also make sure you understand the Fed retirement system.
