Eventually, the DC Republican party will find somebody who can break through in the lower offices and work their way to the top. If I'm going to frame it in stereotypes, it would be a 40-year old tech entrepreneur (not a lobbyist!) with a family, goes to church and is/has run a PRIVATE SECTOR company that employs hundreds of local residents. They've spent their life outside of politics and now sees the need for new leadership that goes against the current party rule. 
Are you telling me there is nobody in that profile?

My high school friends in Republican controlled states where the party has an iron grip on the legislature and the executive feel the same way on the other side.[/quote]
