My kids are both in Oxon Hill, and they are both very happy. We can't say enough good things about Dr. Woodruff. She is an amazing coordinator. My oldest son got accepted into Parkdale IB program three years ago, and we really liked the program but we were told that he couldn't attend because we brought our house and moved (it was just a few miles away from the zone) :( ERHS is very competitive because it serves a large student population in that area. I've heard that last year's cut score was 2690. Flowers and Oxon Hill are much much easier to get in, but both are just as good as ERHS. I've known families moved to Flowers zooning area after their children got their psat scores (around the 2400's) and got in.
Wow! That’s a very high PSAT score based on the formula and assuming kids had a 4.0 gpa. Would mean scores were around 1250 on PSAT. Does that sound about right? Impressive.
