In doubt they’d have you just step in to teach an AP class if you’ve never taught before, though. More likely it would be an on-level or remedial class they need more help with.[/quote] I’ve seen plenty of part time positions but not for main classroom elementary teachers. Where are people seeing those? I’m not counting ELD or specials or Special Ed, which tend to have PT offerings. Does your elementary school teacher work part time?[/quote]
