I used PDTM for two cycles at SG because it's so convenient. I had two weird experiences that were based on rather unique circumstances, but fwiw to your decision here they are. One time the practitioner was late for my pre-transfer appt. I was the first appt. of the day and had gotten there super early (before they were even open!). She ended up being very, very late. She kept calling in, and the receptionist would give me updates. When she finally arrived, she did a shortened session (maybe 15 minutes? I can't recall exactly) and then I rushed to SG for the transfer where they took me right away (instead of getting there early like they recommend and like I had built into the schedule). I didn't have time to drink water, and all the rushing around made for a very stressful experience. I went back for the post-transfer session and they reduced the rate slightly to account for the shortened first session. I think they also gave me a future session either free or at a discount. Another time a customer was having an extreme argument with the front desk. I don't recall what the customer's issue was, only that I could hear the yelling clearly from my darkened treatment room. Needless to say it wasn't very relaxing. My biggest complaint, though, is that I was never able to get anything to submit to insurance from them, only a receipt, which insurance wouldn't take because it didn't have the reason for the acupuncture on it. I'd still guardedly recommend it because it's so convenient, and I'm assuming my experiences are not common ones.
