Good   vote for the person you want.   If you vote for a third party candidate, it is a vote for trump.  Voter should  understand that.

It’s isn’t necessarily.
If you are a 2020 Biden voter who is “disappointed” they didn’t get evey little thing their heart desired, your third party vote hurts Biden.
If you are an “independent” who weirdly almost always votes republican, and you vote third party this time around, your third party vote hurts Trump.
The only thing that is known is that your third party candidate will not be elected president, because there is no math for that. 
The country might be craving a third party, but the country has done zero of the work to make that a reality. It needs to start at the state level, and move up. It takes people coming together to build a grass roots coalition.

I was with you right up till your last sentence. For those who don’t want a Democrat in office, the triple car crash (pun intended) of Nader, Nader, Sanders/Stein worked a treat.

I know you meant “to actually get a third party candidate in office,” and yes, on that level it’s never worked. But a spoiler has worked several times, to the detriment of the health of this country.[/quote]
