When you say you "don't want a gym membership" do you mean a membership to any kind of exercise studio also? example pilates or barre studio? If the answer is yes then just buy packs of classes. Many of these studios will sell these, but keep in mind the cost will often be higher for a pack than if you just purchased a monthly membership. You can also look into Class Pass.
I just don’t want to be committed to a monthly membership. I’m open to buying a package of lessons even if it does cost a bit more!
Usually buying a package of lessons costs less -- you buy 10 and get a slight discount from just buying 1 at a time. I'd look at: Orange Theory Fitness Barre3 I think Barre3 in particular might be a great fit for you, but OTF is great too. Most of these studios will do a complimentary class for a first timer so you can check it out and see if you like the class.
I'm the PP who asked the original question "When you say you "don't want a gym membership" do you mean a membership to any kind of exercise studio also? example pilates or barre studio? " I'm a B3 addict, but back when I was only going 3 times a week instead of the current 5-6 days a week, I looked into buying a class-pack and it was still financially a better deal to buy the unlimited membership. That said the math for the class-pack made sense if you went 1-2 times per week so yes this would work for OP. I really do love B3 especially their new strength class!
