It's based on the Naviance scattergrams.  It's an odd case when someone with a 3.4 from FCPS does not get into JMU.  I'm sure that doesn't make you feel better.  But, it's statistically true.  [/quote]

Your data point = 1.  My data point = 200.  
It has around 200 data points...it's pretty good sample of where the cut line runs for gpa.

Sure there are a few rejections in the otherwise green mass above a 3.3 gpa.  But they are the exception.  In the vadt majority of cases, kids with a 3.3/3.4 get into jmu.  [/quote]
