this isnt the case where the guy had a chance to snatch the gun out the shooters hand or supposedly "stop" the attack. i would never speak on something like that. hell im not even discussing the decision to bring a 4 month old to the theater. thats another topic in itself and has nothing to do with the shooting per se.

this is about putting your own life in front of your childs. i know with 100% certainty that my first instinct with anything are my children. even on the most bullshit of circumstances, my first reaction is making sure my kids are ok.

ill concede for the sake of your argument that im a bitch and that all the chaos caused me to put my kid down and run out the theater and think of myself. once im out that movie theater, my next thought is not to run to my car and drive away. by that time i had a chance to "calm down a bit" and realize my family is still inside. sure im not running back in but my ass sure is looking for my family.

so ill give you justifying the bitch ass move of bailing on his family. explain to me how its cool to then drive the fuck away on top of that
