(She’s now dating) I do have a therapist, but I also can’t be the only parent who travels from state to state chasing FAPE & of course insurance [PPO!] charges $700/mo for one med alone. My kiddo is improving, but I really could use a place to just chill, cry, sleep, and mentally purge all the systems that make it so hard for our kids—and us. It’s beyond painful to parent a child who has not even lived at home in years. I’ll end here. Very late diagnosis of ASD-1 is what’s at play (formerly known as Asperger’s).
