She's bright, but come on.[/quote] 25% of high school sophomores (and juniors) are not reading as well as your daughter, is what that chart is really saying. Assuming your daughter is solidly reading at about a 5th - 6th grade level (which is about where I'd say her Lexile puts her) that statistic is sadly about right. There are many high school sophomores who really aren't reading at a 5th grade level, unfortunately. On a different note, I think it is really not possible to convert a Lexile Score from an SOL score. That's nonsense![/quote]
