I got an incorrect Verizon FiOS for $4 more than usual. My account info shows my usual price, and I was even able to "switch" my service to the same price plan I currently have I have over 2 years of Email history from Verizon. I start a Live Chat on the website, expecting another a refund or some shady "here's where told you the rice was going up, but you didn't notice". The support rep, who introduced as "Myself Mila" (not "I am Mila"), spewed all kinds of nonsense about how that's "impossible because price changes are notified 30days in advance", was notified in the app that I "should have been checking the app" and that "the bill was my 30 day notification". I told them that the app, website, and my email and my SMS history all show the correct price and no change announcement, but the bill is different. The app doesn't even have an "Inbox" so the only chance of being informed there was a random popup notification. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor, and the "supervisor" continued speaking and insulting me in the same tone as the first agent. 20 minutes from the original chat, the "supervisor" says "let me explain", and I say "go ahead." Suddenly my account is logged out of the website. I never got an chat transcript as a follow up email. When I log back in again, Chat goes to a new rep. I start over, but he says he's just a sales rep and helped me sign up for my current correctly priced plan. He gave me a phone number for Support (I'll call later) and apologized that he couldn't do more. Then I got the normal end of chat Quality Survey. Then a new chat started with a new rep! I closed the window. This is the craziest support chat experience I have had in my life! I'm well accustomed to broken and scammy telecom website and sales BS, but usually the humans will show me how the company is technically correct, or apply a credit to my account, or go into a loop of apologizing uselessly. But I've never seen a barrage of aggressive behavior from a rep like this. Especially strange because usually these reps talk by pasting snippets of official but useless Help text, not their own grammatically broken babble.
