Write good essays. Try to personalize the essays to the school. For example, if he's writing about wanting to attend Engineering, talk about something really specific - a professor's research that you want to be a part of, or even the statue outside the building, etc. - to show how into the school you are. Doesn't always work but better than a generic essay.[/quote]
