Parents make selections. The demographics you see are a direct result of parent selection -- not school selection. Could Latin market only in neighborhoods that are majority low-income and minority? Yes but word of mouth and historic reputation is still going to likely yield high SES parents choosing Latin at high rates.[/quote]
