I've never seen a non-standardized test given with timed sections, but if the students generally had 30 minutes for multiple choice and 30 minutes for essay, then the teacher can do this. Otherwise, the kid should be able to use time as they see fit. They may need to schedule it at a less than opportune time where it can be done all at once, though.[/quote]
