Sure, Marie Antoinette.
+1 “Let them ride bikes” OP, are you an urbanist/YIMBY? For a car-free society? You must love safe bike lanes and efficient transit and affordable housing near jobs and transportation? No? Oh, you’re just whining.
Excuses excuses. Hondas, Kias, Hyundai, even Ford models all under $30k, even many options under $25k. But keep on buying your stupid SUVs and then complaining about your student loans and rising car insurance rates. You're the clown choosing to blow so much money on a depreciating asset with rising operating costs. Then you complain the rest of society should be paying the rest of your bills like the college debt you chose to take out. You and the typical dumb middle class American lifestyle make me sick.
First of all, I’m doing the thing you want, I drive a used 2022 (bought this year) Hyundai hybrid for $27K. And the people I know with student loans are riding bikes. This doesn’t change the facts about supply chains, price gouging and inflation.
