Americans have no problems stupidly dumping $45k+ into a depreciating asset like a dumb car.  On top of that, they are now getting hosed even more on that depreciating asset with rising operating costs due to increasing insurance rates.  I mean, how stupid can you be with money and then have the gall to complain about not being able to afford your bills?  And many households rack up even more debt by owning 2 cars.

Americans need a big slice of humble pie and need to learn to live within their means. Driving cars $40-50k+ or more is really stupid.  But in this country, it's all about image and keeping up the Joneses. Then complain about your student loans etc. after you refuse to live within your means.  Sorry, I have very little sympathy for all of the whining Americans do these days.
