I think that most 18 year olds, whose families think “restaurant “ when it comes to celebrations have probably been to enough restaurants to have opinions about what they like — and what they don’t. Suggesting options is, of course, a great idea, but so is asking the guest of honor. The most recent HS graduation meal that I attended was — despite many posher suggestions— held at a Nandos. The graduate— who chose the spot — was very happy that her family and invited guests took HER suggestion. [/quote]
