MCPS would rather have kids Google random websites to search for answers. My kid found that incredibly frustrating in MS Science, except for the one year she had a teacher who would basically spoon-feed them the answers. I recognize that's not ideal, but honestly, I found it a better approach than sending kids off to search for answers on the internet. The lack of a Spanish textbook also irritates me. It's just a constant flow of ridiculous MCPS photocopies worksheets. For the amount of money they spend on making photocopies, they could probably cut a deal with a textbook publisher and at least get some workbooks for all the kids. [/quote]
