I’m a HS teacher and it’s more common for me to hear groups talk about how they stopped by to homecoming or prom. The real events were the photos before, the party bus and whoever’s house they were hanging out at either before or after. It’s not necessarily even a drinking party but sometimes a buffet of food put on by parents for the friends. The dance itself seems of very little importance. [/quote]
