Ugh. This is why I’m leaning towards yes.  But my DH is a hard no because he thinks the cumulative lack of rest will catch up with her and she’ll be cranky and more likely to get sick after three days of it.  I’m pretty easy going usually though and if it were just me, I’d let her.  Not sure I want to have the parenting battle so was looking for confirmation that most would say no.[/quote]

This is where I would come down on this (with your DH) because the lack of sleep really affects my kid. Mine also plays travel softball and while that makes me want to say yes, it actually goes in the no column. She gets so little sleep most tournament weekends. We always seem to get the early games, especially on Saturday. She just knows sleepovers are mostly a winter thing. She did have one last night because our tournament was rained out but three in a row would turn her into an absolute monster. [/quote]
