Our family has been there for 4 years. The school has some SAH parents, some part-time working and some full-time working. The working parents pretty much all have nannies or au pairs so they are using preschool as an additional enrichment for their children and not as daycare. It would be very hard to work at all and use KNS as your only daycare. However, if you do have a nanny or au pair and can take some time off 1 to 3 times a month to work in the classroom, you can pull it off as a working parent.
Makes sense. So, basically, it only works for SAH families or working families who are wealthy enough to pay for a nanny AND preschool? I don't mean that in a snarky way, just trying to figure out if it is a viable option for my family in the future. I live in Kensington Heights and I've heard good things about it.
Yes I guess that's true, not that it is full of wealthy people but that it is part-time and insufficient as daycare in and of itself. And it is very inexpensive, with monthly tuitions between $100 and $200. It's really a great place if it works for your family's schedule. Kids can start at age 2, so maybe keep it in mind for the future! See you at Kensington Heights park.
