If you don't drink to excess and you do watch your kids and have everyone follow the ship's rules (especially in bad weather) the odds of going overboard are really tiny--far less than the odds of other types of injuries on or off a cruise ship. I can think of many other reasons not to go on cruises, and I don't like them myself, but fear of going overboard is not a logical reason to avoid them.[/quote]
