[/quote] You can fit multiple pickleball courts on one full size basketball court. Lifetime's original setup for its gyms was two full size basketball courts. They would sometimes use one of the courts for giant zumba classes, or birthday parties, etc. but otherwise basketball. Then, they took one court and made it a permanent pickleball area with 4 pickleball courts and kept the other basketball court for camps, parties, basketball, giant zumba classes, etc. This seemed like a business-drive decision (maximizing your activities: space ratio). Taking away a multipurpose area for solely pickleball seems dumb, to me, but as as business, they must have run the numbers. [/quote]
