Probably the school and the community do not want the bad publicity?

This was the first part of the email from the Prinicpal which mentions physical assault of a teacher:

Dear Richard Montgomery Community,

I am writing to provide information regarding a serious incident that occurred during 7th period at Richard Montgomery High School on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

At that time, administration and security team members were alerted to a student engaging in disruptive behavior who verbally and physically assaulted a staff member. Multiple school staff responded immediately to assist in de-escalating the situation. Numerous students and staff witnessed the incident and because the exchange involved disturbing language and high emotions, it is important to recognize what has occurred and to communicate how we will address it. [/quote]
