I guess F1 did a great sales pitch about how much money the race would bring to town, especially since the cheapest seats are well upwards of $1,000 each. Not to mention they sold the casinos on how much people would pay to stay there so the casinos are now charging room packages anywhere from $6,000 to $1mil. Who the heck pays that kind of money??? What I find most objectionable is they (resorts/casinos) are already closing down their pools and other amenities a month in advance, yet they are still charging resort fees. [/quote]
