I responded that if a President illegally oversteps his bounds and violates the constitution, I expect him to be impeached, pronto.  Even if it's Obama. I am simply withholding judgment until a constitutional scholar(s) lets us know whether this particular refusal is not consistent with precedent.

When I also responded that I sometimes feel like people get really worked up about these things because it's the black guy doing it.  For eample, I don't recall the same level of hysteria when Bush invoked executive privelege to refuse to hand over documents.  They were outraged.  OUTRAGED.  That I could even contemplate such a thing.

MSNBC, they said, refuses to cover Fast and Furious.  When I showed them several google hits relating to msnbc and F&F, well that didn't count.

Nevermind Obamacare.  FROTHING AT THE MOUTH.  "Rationing"!  All us rich people wille to fly to Bangladesh for the care that the US govt will refuse - and even make ILLEGAL in the US.

I am horrified.  These are educated, generally nice, responsible people.  Note to self, no more discussing politics.
