We are having this same issue - 17 yo cat meowing in the middle of the night (I'm not OP). I took her in for a wellness exam recently and the vet said she seemed to be doing great. The vet even said it was fine for us to skip blood work since it was good last time and she seemed in good shape based on her physical exam. I think she asked a bunch of questions like - is she still doing other things she likes to do, eating, drinking, using the litter box, etc. So, we've just been dealing with the meowing by shushing her, or after a couple of bad nights closing the bedroom door.[/quote]
