As a new Blair parent, I don't think I learned any brand new information other than the protocol for excusing my kid for a doctor's appointment or something. But I'm glad I went because I was really impressed with the staff, particularly the principal and the resource counselor. They were friendly and helpful, but also clear-eyed about the fact that they are dealing with high schoolers. A couple of parents had questions where it was clear that they were taking the 14-year-old's word on something, and the resource counselor did a great job of gently clarifying that she had indeed sent three separate emails on the topic or whatever.[/quote]
