DH can join me in my fantasy if he is also living his fantasy life, which means we have a weekend home and boat at a lake that is similarly impeccable, he has fully launched his side hustle into a satisfying career that has allowed me to ditch my miserable job, and our cottage has a detached office/gym where he can not bother me during the day, because I am busy in my sunlit studio quilting, reading, crafting, planning gatherings (again, beautiful home and outdoor space!), lighting seasonally appropriate expensive candles, and generally doing all of the things that our current life does not have the time or space for.

Oh, our kids? They are happily attending whatever college is the best fit for them, and they eagerly join us at the lake house on weekends and holidays. They bring their friends and/or significant others, who love to spend time with our family, because we are fun, relaxed, and amazing hosts.
