Until several years ago, OES was a split feeder to both Jackson and Thoreau as were a couple of other schools (Mosby Woods was one I can remember). Then those 3 or 4 schools were redistricted so all of the kids went to Thoreau as their base after the renovation increased capacity there. Most (if not all, I don’t remember) of the former OES Jackson kids went on to OHS while the Thoreau kids went to Madison.
