OP here/ Thank you!! For so long I have felt shame about my slothiness. I have tried to drink more coffee in the hopes of doing more, but alas I am a sloth. I too tend to form strong lasting bonds and I don't have many superficial relationships. My kids are happy. I do sometimes feel bad for them. We do things like the zoo every now and then and I will do the birthday thing, just not as often as my fellow DCUMs. I justify it by telling myself they need down time to just play. My husband has more energy, but at least he has some sloth to him.
