But from a young age they teach the kids (boys, at least) to make cynical intentional fouls and play rough, all the while the coach berates them from the sideline for the entire game: They’ve done well in the early years; time will tell if that is a viable path to success for developing good players. But even it if were, the abusive yelling is over the top in my opinion.[/quote]
