Reflecting on this time, I am deeply appreciative of the experiences I have gained within FCPS. My affection for the Woodson community runs deep and from my first day here, I have cared about every student and made the academic, social, and emotional success of our students my top priority.  Thus, this is a bittersweet good-bye, yet I know I will see many of you again.

In the coming week, the Department of Human Resources and Ms. Rebecca Baenig, Region 5 Assistant Superintendent, will share the next steps in the process of selecting a new principal. I am confident that FCPS Leadership will thoughtfully appoint a new principal who will continue to foster a culture of respect and inclusion and maintain high academic standards for everyone.
