It is cut so it fits more snugly around the bust and then is bias cut away from the body so hides the 'sins'. The stripes are in a v which draws the eye in. The fabric is thick enough to skim over the body. I can understand the skepticism but I wore it yesterday and have had a ton of compliments.. including one from a stylish stranger.
