Teachers or admins, in ParentVUE why would a students grade (next to their name) show lower than the classes they are registered for?
Teacher here. One of the regulations details requirements for “promotion” to the next grade level. To be designated grade 10, students have to have earned a full credit in English 9 and a full credit of their high school math class. Each year after that they also have to earn credits each year in social studies, science, and electives to be on track for graduation. Students are always placed in the English class corresponding to the correct grade, if they hadn’t failed required course(s).
