When she wears jeans, you can just comment that she looks very nice. It would be odd if you say anything more than that.

This sounds good to me too. Support what you like and hope she likes it too. But if ultimately you can't be in a relationship with someone who won't wear jeans, or be faithful to someone who doesn't wear jeans, that's an issue your partner should know about before committing too deeply. A preference isn't the same as a relationship requirement.
