We only drink bottled spring water in our home and I’m noticing that it’s costing us a lot of money. Everyone in our households drinks a lot of water which is good, but it’s getting to be pretty expensive and I’m starting to worry about our consumption of micro plastics. I’ve been keeping track and we buy 9 packs of water with 40 bottles in each pack every two weeks. That’s 360 bottles! Does anyone have alternative suggestions to mimi or cost and plastic use? I know there are filtered water options but I’m specifically looking to hear folks’ pros/cons for the type of water system they use and whatever anyone else does bottles. Thanks.
I’m shocked that you don’t know if alternatives like a Brita filter, having a water service like Deer Park come to your house, or just get a reverse osmosis under your sink for drinking water. It costs a couple thousand dollars, but it’s worth it and it tastes better than the bottle water anyway.
