Someone who’s actually at Wootton will be able to tell you more about lockers and sports gear, but it’s safe to assume she may not get a locker, and even if she does, she probably won’t be able to get to it very often during the school day. Plan to carry everything around, at least at first, until she’s got the lay of the land.

Kids can technically carry their own laptop, but it’s easier and safer to use the school-issued ones. Nobody bothering to steal a school chromebook, and it’s simpler to manage the accounts and passwords and the requirements for online testing. Mine quickly realized she wasn’t using any of the actual software or features on her Apple laptop because everything was done in the Google environment anyway. And when her middle school chromebook crapped out, they gave her an updated version with a touchscreen that was even slimmer than her MacBook Air. [/quote]
