If the kid was going to eat it almost immediately, then we wouldn’t do much to keep it cool. But we sometimes slipped them into an insulated bottle holder with an ice pack if we were going to be out longer or were going on a car ride. In terms of brands, we used the WeeSprout ones that another poster linked to for our older child and have used the Haaka ones for our younger child. The WeeSprout ones were great for oatmeal, which our child used to eat in the car on the way to preschool. [/quote]
