It's not presented in a way that really gives a person the context of how likely this risk is, how it compares to the myriad of other risks a person faces every day, how it compares to the potential benefits, how it compares to the risks of not taking the medicine, and so forth. Like any cable news outlet, CNN is in the business of attracting clicks and eyeballs, so I know this sort of nuance and context doesn't really square with their business model. So, I don't fault them. But I wouldn't make much out of this story other than just another data point to keep in the back of your mind when making decisions. [/quote]
