They last played each other in WAGS nearly a year ago where Bethesda won in a 1 goal game. BSC lost in the Virginian final just a couple months ago to a team that didn’t even qualify for their GA playoffs. Let’s not read too much into one good playoff run. Truth is, there are a handful of good teams in the area which are all capable of beating each other on any given day. [/quote]

Let's give them credit.  They got that far and the Union team didn't get out of group stage.  Between the Virginian and the playoffs, they did get at least one quality player.

Of course they deserve credit. Well done. But that doesn't mean they are a better team. If BSC played Union 10 times, games would be close and they would most likely split 5-5 or 6-4 or 4-6. Same would likely happen if they played VDA, TSJFCV, Arlington. You can say they were the better team on that day or in that tournament but not overall.

Well, tryouts were before that, so could be someone who tried out, impressed, and was asked to join for the rest of the season. [/quote]
