Yes. Clearly, you never attended school at an SEC or Big Ten university or Big 12.

In the words of former University of Oklahoma President Dr. George Cross in seeking funding from the state legislature after Oklahoma won its first national championship in football in 1951/1952, "We want to build a university our football team can be proud of."

Division 1 football is big business and it is university business. One university president told me that hiring coach Nick Saban is the best investment that we ever made.
